StratiCELL is an SME, specialized in R&D and testing of skin care products using innovative in vitro models and assays. Based on an extensive expertise in skin tissue engineering and cell biology, StratiCELL, founded in 2005, has continuously developed a range of in vitro models and testing solutions to support the development of skin care products. Skin models include keratinocytes, fibroblasts, melanocytes, adipocytes, endothelial cells, as well as 3D reconstructed skin under basal, inflammatory, stressed, pathological and other conditions. Efficacy testing strategy and tools expand from the expression of genes to the activity, abundance and localisation of key proteins.
Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Traumatology is a research organisation organized around two large research areas: 1) the Intensive Medicine area, and 2) the Tissue Regeneration area, each containing several Research Groups focused on specific topics besides wound healing (e.g. tissue regeneration and aging, bone, vascularization).
